MIC-3036-S2 is a 2U high-strength fixed CompactPCI chassis suitable for small and medium-sized CT applications, such as enterprise VoIP gateways and integrated access devices In the 4-channel motherboard of MIC-3036-S2 6U specification, except for one slot reserved for CPU card occupancy, the remaining 3 slots are reserved for CompactPCI external devices. All P4 connectors provide H.110CT bus connections that comply with PICMG2.5 specifications for TDM signals in computer telephone applications. The CompactPCI slot on the motherboard is designed horizontally, allowing a 2U high chassis to accommodate 4 CompactPCI cards and support up to 3 external devices with a slot width of 1. MIC-3036-S2 is highly suitable for applications that require multiple peripheral I/Os simultaneously and have limited space. MIC-3036-S2 also supports IEEE 1101.11 standard rear I/O transfer board. MIC-3036-S2 is designed with an easy to install drive rack. It can support up to 3 drives, including a hard drive, an ultra-thin optical drive, and an ultra-thin floppy drive.
